Indian Register Quality Systems (IRQS) is a department functioning under the parent organization Indian Register of Shipping (IRS) formed as a Public Limited Company under Section 25 of the Companies Act 1956.

IRQS exclusively deals with the certification of Quality Management System (QMS) ISO 9001:2008, Environmental Management Systems (EMS) ISO 14001:2004 and Occupational Health and Safety Management Systems (OHSAS) 18001:2007, ISO / TS 16949 & Food Safety Management System (HACCP) ISO 22000:2005, Information Security Management Systems ( ISMS ) ISO 27001:2005, Security Management System for Supply Chain (SMS) ISO 28000:2007.

We have a large pool of qualified Auditors registered with IRCA, who have been functioning from various locations in India i.e. Bangalore, Kolkatta, Chennai, Delhi, Goa, Hyderabad, Kandla, Kochi, Mumbai, Pune, Bhopal, Vadodara, Tiruchirapalli, Visakhapatnam and Port Blair, besides the Head Office being at Powai, Mumbai. On an international level, branches at Sri Lanka, Dubai and China, Singapore, Thailand have also been functional.l.

As you may be aware, IRQS is the First Certification Body in this part of Asia to have received the Raad voor Accreditatie (RvA) accreditation in February 1993. Since then our organization has gone through three successful renewal audits conducted by RvA apart from regular Annual Surveillance audits, which supports our continual satisfactory service to the industry. RvA has accredited for QMS, EMS,ISMS & FSMS. OHSAS accreditation in under Process.

We have also received Accreditation from m NABCB (The Indian Accreditation Body of Quality Council of India) for QMS & EMS. We are also in the process of enhancing scope sector under NABCB Accreditation as an ongoing process.

We have also received accreditation from IATF (International Automotive Task Force) for ISO/TS 16949:2002 Certification Standard for Automotive Sector.

IRQS has certified over 2500 companies in various sectors till date. Our few prestigious clients are like, ONGC, TATA STEEL , HPCL, IOCL, Engineer’s India Ltd., Ashok Leyland, WIPRO, APTECH, Apollo Tyres, all major Ports & Ship Yards, many Railway Workshops, etc.
