IRClass Academy Advances Port Security Capacity with Second CISF Training on PFSO & PFSIA

Mumbai, 15–18 September 2025 : IRClass Academy successfully conducted the second batch of specialized training for Central Industrial Security Force (CISF) personnel. The training focused on the Port Facility Security Officer (PFSO) and Port Facility Security Internal Auditor (PFSIA) certifications, vital roles in enhancing port security and safeguarding India’s maritime infrastructure.

The four-day program was inaugurated by Shri Padmakar Ranpise, IPS, Additional Director General, CISF, who praised the initiative as vital to strengthening India’s port security framework. Shri Abhishek Goyal, IPS, Inspector General, Western Sector, CISF, also expressed strong support for the collaboration.

A keynote by Prof. (Dr.) Bimal N Patel, Vice Chancellor, Rashtriya Raksha University, underscored the critical need for advanced training programs that align with national security priorities and stressed the role of academic and professional collaborations in maximizing the efficacy of such initiatives.

In his welcome address, Shri T K Sahu, Joint Managing Director, IRS, reaffirmed IRCLASS Academy’s commitment to capacity building for CISF, proposing expanded cooperation including tailored training modules and support in developing floating assets.
