About the course
The Course will provide an overview of Alternative Fuels and Systems which are expected to contribute to and realize IMO goals of reduction in GHG emissions by the Maritime Sector. Various Alternative fuels and Systems, their advantages and relative limitations will be discussed. An overview will also be provided of the existing Regulatory mechanisms and those expected to be developed in the future to deal with the safety and environmental aspects of use of such fuels onboard ships.
