Indian Register of Shipping Reinforces Global Maritime Leadership at London International Shipping Week 2025 as an International Partner – India.

IRS organised two key events at the first-ever LISW Global Hub, County Hall, on 16 September 2025 –

1. IRS seminar, “Reimagining Seafaring: Elevating Maritime Careers,” drew participation from stakeholders across the maritime spectrum.

Moderated by Mr. Raal Harris, Vice President of InterManager, the session featured an eminent panel including Mr. Arun Sharma, Executive Chairman, IRS; Mr. Andreas Hadjipetrou, Chief Commercial Officer, Columbia Group; Mr. Mark Charman, CEO, Faststream; Capt. Pradeep Chawla, CEO and Founder, MarinePALS; and Capt. John Lloyd, CEO, Nautical Institute.

2. IRS Round Table on “Is Nuclear the Missing Piece in Maritime Decarbonisation?” facilitated engaging discussions on the potential of nuclear propulsion in achieving maritime decarbonisation goals.

The session featured distinguished speakers – Dr. Martin Stopford, Maritime Economist; Capt.
