Indian Register of Shipping marked a strong and engaging presence at Singapore Maritime Week 2026 through its participation and stakeholder interactions.

IRS Presence at Singapore Maritime Week 2026

• His Excellency Dr. Shilpak Ambule, High Commissioner of India to Singapore, graced the IRS Stand at the India Pavilion during SMW 2026 (20–24 April).
• The Pavilion witnessed engaging exchanges with the global maritime community and visitors.
• At the India Business Roundtable, Mr. Arun Sharma, Executive Chairman, IRS, shared perspectives on “Harnessing Technology to Achieve Climate Goals.”

Customer & Stakeholder Engagement

• IRS hosted a Customer Meet  on 22 April 2026 alongside the exhibition, with strong participation from senior maritime stakeholders across the region. The engagement reflected IRS’s standing in the Key South East Asia maritime community.
• Prior to the event, IRS convened its 7th Singapore Advisory Committee Meeting, where distinguished industry leaders shared strategic insights and recommendations.
• The stakeholder event included an address by senior IRS leadership, outlining recent developments, strategic priorities, and opportunities for enhanced collaboration in the region.
