Drupal based portal helps in customer engagement and contextual content management

Indian Register of Shipping ,an internationally recognized independent ship classification society based in Mumbai, India has announced the rollout of an Open Source – Drupal based Web Experience Management (WEM) portal

The portal roll out comes into effect on Dec 12, 2012. The new Drupal based WEM solution provides IRS with a platform to have contextual management of their data and at the same time have an appealing User Interface, which was conspicuously missing in the earlier portal. The new portal has completely dynamic and interactive content management using open source technologies and rich internet applications.
 
“IRS was in search of a right tool to revamp its corporate portal with all the new web features and at the same time being in tune with the industry requirements and ensuring cost effectiveness.
