1. Considering that regular and effective monitoring of the vessel improves the response time to deal with the request for assistance in case of any exigency, Indian Administration, vide M.S Notice No. 08 of 2020, has advised Indian flagged vessels to provide updates at the following email ids on the type of incidents as indicated in the reporting template given in the Annex of the said Notice.

   3. mrcc-west@indiancoastguard.nic.in

2. Ship owners/ operators and masters of Indian flagged vessels are advised to be guided by above and ensure compliance. Owners and operators are also advised to incorporate above requirements in the vessels Safety Management System (SMS).
