Subject : Marshall Islands Ship Security Advisory No. 07-23 Reg. Geopolitical conflict in Israel.

1. In view of the current geopolitical conflict in Israel as well as the recent attacks on Israeli ports, Republic of Marshall Islands (RMI) Administration vide Ship Security Advisory No. 07-23 has advised as following.

  • The threat to collateral damage to merchant vessels has significantly increased.
  • Vessels with links to Israel or the United States may be under heightened threat of attack within Israeli territorial waters, the Arabian Gulf, Strait of Hormuz, Gulf of Oman and Red sea areas.

2. Accordingly, the security level for Israeli ports and territorial waters has been raised to Security level III (or equivalent security measures).

3. All security incidences must be reported to the administration at: marsec@register-iricom, dutyofficer@register-iri-com, and +1 571 441 1885.

4. Ship owners/ operators and masters of Marshall Islands flagged ships are advised to be guided by above and ensure compliance
